Hebrews 11:3 says:

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

I take that to mean that everything we see in creation was made from complete NOTHINGNESS. Perhaps that's what you're feeling your life is like - complete nothingness. Maybe 2007 wasn't the greatest year for you. Well friend, remember the words of Isaiah 43:19:

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

Let today (and all 2008) be the day you allow God to begin to create something beautiful out the NOTHINGNESS of your life. He could create the entire universe from nothing - imagine what He can do with your life!
