Getting Started at my.PastorBlog?

If you are new to blogging, we recommend that you read this helpful article before you get started. It explains the basics about blogging and will give you some great ideas for how you can use your blog. We also recommend checking out our FAQ page.

When you're ready, you can get started by creating your FREE account. (Note: Creating an account is limited to pastors and fulltime staff.) You should receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. Once you do, log in and click "write a blog entry" in the left navigation menu.

After you've written your first blog post, share your personalized URL with your church, leadership team, friends, family, or any other group of your choice. This is necessary so they can read your post and share their comments. Your URL is simply http://my.pastorblog.com/ followed by your username (e.g., http://my.pastorblog.com/revbeaux).

Ways to Use Your Blog

Blogging can be used for different purposes. Your blog can be personal—a place where you share what's going on in your life. Or you can use it for ministry purposes to share with your church or leadership team. These are just a couple ideas. But you can use your blog however you want, and you can create more than one if you'd like.

If you want to allow the other users at PastorBlog.com to read your blog, make sure to select Yes for "Show entry on the 'Public Pastor Blogs' page?"
