We are excited to announce that you can now put your blog on your
church and/or personal website. Anyone who visits your site will be able
to read your blog without having to go to a different site. You will
still use PastorBlog.com as a control panel to write/edit your blog, but your readers won't need to come to PastorBlog unless they want to view or add comments.
There are two different ways to get your blog to appear on your website. The first is simple, but not very customizable. The second is more difficult, but allows you to change the look of your blog to fit better with the look of your website. For pastors who don't have experience creating websites, we recommend passing this information on to the individual who manages your site. The Simple Method 1. Create a new HTML document for your website where you want your blog to appear. 2. Log in to your PastorBlog account. 3. Click on RSS Code in the User Menu.
You should see something like this: (BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE ONLY)
4. Paste the first snippet of code into the head section of the HTML document you just created. 5. Paste the second snippet of code into the body section of the HTML document were you want your blog to appear. 6. Save the HTML file, create the appropriate links to your new file, and upload it to your server. You're all set! Share your new blog URL with your church, friends, and family. The XML MethodThis second method is a bit more complex. Someone with experience building websites can use the XML file from the third snippet of code above to customize how your blog will appear on your site. Reader Subscription
Tell your readers that they can now subscribe to your blog as well. By simply clicking on the RSS icon

next to your name, they can add your blog to their favorite feed reader and easily keep track of all your new posts.
